Welcome to Valhalla High School!
Valhalla High School, a public high school in Westchester County, serves approximately 430 students in grades 9-12. Students come from the towns of Mt. Pleasant, North Castle and Greenburgh, which have long been strong supporters of the school. An engaged and challenging faculty and curriculum support a college-preparatory program as better than 90% of all graduates pursue post-secondary education upon graduation. With numerous athletic programs, clubs, student organizations, fine and performing arts opportunities to choose from, Valhalla High School students are more about being a part of a community than simply being high school students.

WCC and VHS Honor Students
Valhalla High School in conjunction with Westchester Community College offers 7 college courses to our students. Each year, the college and the high school recognize high achieving students who participate in these classes. In a ceremony held at WCC on Tuesday, May 15th, 7 VHS students were recognized along with students from 21 other schools. Congratulations to Danielle Colabatistto, Cynthia Kim, Mariah Koeltl, Alexandra Lanjewar, Fiona Morrice, Paul Salminen and Mary Trujillo!

Foreign Language Honor Society Inducts 27 New Members!
On Wednesday, May 9 the VHS Foreign Language Faculty welcomed 27 new members into the Foreign Language Honor Society. Valhalla High School jointly recognizes Spanish and Italian students as they are inducted into a single honor society. The students have shown their passion and aptitude in either Spanish or Italian in and out of the classroom. In today's ever shrinking global environment, their pursuit of a second, or third language will benefit them immensely as they continue on beyond VHS. Congratulations!
